# Axyra Sheets for .NET

An embeddable, Excel-compatible spreadsheet engine: open, edit, calculate and
save `.xlsx`, `.xlsm`, `.xlsb`, `.xls`, `.csv` and `.json` workbooks, and render
them to PDF, PNG, SVG or HTML — with no Excel installation and no COM.

- **Targets** `net8.0` and `net10.0`.
- **Platforms** — the package carries the native engine for Windows x64,
  Linux x64 / arm64 (glibc 2.28 or newer) and macOS arm64 / x64; .NET loads the
  right one automatically.

## Quick start

```csharp
using Axyra.Sheets;
using Workbook wb = new Workbook();
Sheet s = wb.Sheets.Add("Data");
s["A1:A3"].SetNumbers(new[] { 1.5, 2.5, 3.0 });
s[3, 0].Formula = "SUM(A1:A3)";   // calculated at once
Console.WriteLine(s[3, 0].Value);   // Number { Value = 7 }
wb.Save("out.xlsx");
```

`Workbook` owns native memory: dispose it (`using`) when you are done.

## Licensing

Without a license the engine runs in **evaluation mode**: everything works, but
saved files carry an evaluation notice, rendered pages an evaluation banner, and
one process may open or save at most 100 files and run for at most 72 hours.
Install a license once at startup to lift all of that:

```csharp
LicenseInfo info = License.Apply(File.ReadAllBytes("axyra.lic"));
if (!info.IsLicensed)
{
    Console.Error.WriteLine($"Axyra Sheets is not licensed: {info.State}");
}
```

A bad or expired token never throws; it leaves the engine in evaluation mode.
